PRICE LIST
All of our CD’s are transferred onto archival quality CD’s guaranteed to last 100 years (with proper handling and storing of the compact disc).

All CD transfers will come with a full artifact report. The artifact report details any sound defects that could not be removed within the songs by listing the type of problem, when it occurs in the music and the time duration it lasts in the song.

There are three different levels of pricing which you can choose. From level 1 (general transfer) to a level 3 (dynamic transfer). We can also take audio from multiple albums, cassette tapes and/or 45's to create your very own compilation all on to one CD.

Let us know if you would prefer to have an audio CD or a CD in MP3 format to upload to your ipod or other MP3 playing device.

Please note, only store-bought tapes will be transferred and restored. Homemade tapes and CD's made of original albums will not be transferred and restored.

The cost for transfer is $0.44 for each minute of audio. A minimum charge of 20 minutes is $8.80. The maximum capacity is 74 minutes per CD ($32.56). A great place to get the times of the songs is the actual LP label. If the times are not available, calculate the length of the LP for 45 minutes ($20.00). This process includes our restoration process involving the 5 De’s:
De-scratch, de-click, de-crackle, de-noise and de-hum. These will remove any surface noise from your music. For more details on the meaning of the 5 De’s please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page. We will also split the tracks like a real CD so you can skip to the songs you want to hear.

Level 2: Additional Sound Enhancement
For an additional $1.00 per song and/or movement no matter what length they are, your sound file will receive CD quality sound enhancement.

This will be accomplished utilizing Arboretum Systems Hyperism Sound Effects for Mac OS9. These are the three main effects we use:
- Bass Maximizer
- Harmonic Exciter
- Parametric EQ.

Additional effects used if needed are:
- Low Shelf
- High Shelf
- Tube/Tape Saturation
- Quasi Stereo

Level 3: Dynamic Range Expansion
For an additional $5.00 per CD, dynamic range expansion is applied utilizing the DBX 4BX Dynamic Range Expander with Impact Restoration.

Media: Tru-Silver or Tru-Gold CD
Your sound file is split into separate tracks and burned onto archival Tru-Silver CD (no data loss guaranteed for at least one hundred years if properly taken care of). An upgrade to Tru-Gold CD is available for an additional $3.00 (no data loss guaranteed for at least two hundred to three hundred years if properly taken care of).

If you would like to have a package to house your CD in they are available for an additional cost.

Please note:
If you would like to transfer an LP that has been poorly taken care of then results may still contain artifacts. For records with extremely heavy surface wear, very noticeable artifacts might still remain in the digital.

If you send us an LP any crunchier than this example, very noticeable artifacts might remain.

We can not repair skips, accapella recordings and any audio with a kazoo in it . With skips, the best we can do is cut the music to eliminate the gap in the sound file.

Return Policy:
FOR A PERIOD OF 35 DAYS AFTER NOTIFICATION TO YOU THAT YOUR CD'S HAVE SHIPPED, YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SOUND ENHANCEMENT AND OR THE DYNAMIC RANGE EXPANSION THAT WAS APPLIED TO YOUR CD, WE WILL MAKE AND SEND YOU ANOTHER CD TO YOUR NEW SPECIFICATIONS. YOU MUST SEND THE ORIGINAL CD WE MADE FOR YOU BACK TO US BEFORE A NEW ONE IS MADE AND SENT BACK TO YOU. IF APPLICABLE, A NEW LABEL WILL BE APPLIED. THIS WILL BE DONE 1 TIME ONLY.
