PRICE LIST
All of our CD’s are transferred onto archival quality CD’s guaranteed to last 100 years (with proper handling and storing of the compact disc).

There are three different levels of pricing which you can choose. From level 1 (general transfer) to a level 3 (dynamic transfer). We can also take audio from multiple albums, cassette tapes and/or 45's to create your very own compilation all on to one CD. Please add in the cost to ship to us + $3.00 shipping and handling when calculating the total cost for return shipment.

Let us know if you would prefer to have a CD in MP3 format to upload to your ipod or other MP3 playing device.

*Please note*, only store-bought tapes of commercially released recordings will be transferred and restored. This means homemade tapes and CD's made from store-bought LP's will not be transferred and restored. This rule does NOT include your precious, original homemade cassette recordings of family members and related voice and music.

The cost for transfer is $0.44 for each minute of audio. A minimum charge of 20 minutes is $8.80. The maximum capacity is 74 minutes per CD ($32.56). A great place to get the times of the songs is the actual LP label. If the times are not available, send them here, we can calculate the length of the LP and give you an exact quote. This process includes our restoration process involving the 5 De’s:
De-scratch, de-click, de-crackle, de-noise and de-hum. These will remove any surface noise from your music. For more details on the meaning of the 5 De’s please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page. We will also split the tracks like a real CD so you can skip to the songs you want to hear. (see the FAQ page for more about track splitting)

Level 2: Additional Sound Enhancement
For an additional $1.00 per track, movement or spoken word recording no matter what length they are, your sound file will receive CD quality sound enhancement. If you would like, a small before and after example can be e-mailed to you. This will be e-mailed to you only upon your request.

This will be accomplished utilizing Arboretum Systems Hyperism Sound Effects for Mac OS9. These are the four main effects we use:
- Bass Maximizer
- Harmonic Exciter
- Tube,Tape Saturation
- Sony Oxford Inflator

Additional effects used if needed are:
- Low Shelf
- High Shelf
- Parametric EQ.
- Quasi Stereo

Level 3: Dynamic Range Expansion
For an additional $5.00 per CD, dynamic range expansion is applied utilizing the DBX 4BX Dynamic Range Expander with Impact Restoration. Not recomended for spoken word recordings.

Media: Tru-Silver or Tru-Gold CD
Your sound file is split into separate tracks and burned onto archival Tru-Silver CD (no data loss guaranteed for at least one hundred years if properly taken care of). An upgrade to Tru-Gold CD is available for an additional $3.00 (no data loss guaranteed for at least two hundred to three hundred years if properly taken care of).

If you would like to have a package to house your CD in they are available for an additional cost.

Please note:
If you would like to transfer an LP that has been poorly taken care of then results may still contain artifacts. For records with extremely heavy surface wear, very noticeable artifacts might still remain in the digital.

If you send us an LP any crunchier than this example, very noticeable artifacts might remain.

We can not repair male baritone solo accapella recordings, or audio with a kazoo in it whereas the original scource of this material is from a Vinyl LP. With skips, the best we can do is cut the music to eliminate the gap in the sound file.
Return Policy:
One Time Only, for a period of 35 days after notification to you that your CD's have shipped, you notify us the need for adjustment to the level 2 sound enhancement that was applied to your CD, we will make and send you another CD to your new specifications. You must send the original CD we made for you back to us before a new one is made and sent back to you. If applicable, a new label will be applied. A small before and after example of the sound from the 1st CD and the new CD will be e-mailed to you before the new one ships.
